The Embassy of Lithuania to Poland will continue its diplomatic partnership with the Casimir Pulaski Foundation for the Warsaw Security Forum to take place on 24 - 25 October 2018.

The Casimir Pulaski Foundation is a Warsaw-based independent, non-partisan think-tank specialized in foreign policy and international security. The Warsaw Security Forum is a leading conference in Central and Eastern Europe organised since 2014 on yearly basis by the Casimir Pulaski Foundation in partnership with Polish and foreign institutions, whose goal is to bring together policy makers, industry leaders, military and civilian experts from the EU and NATO countries and from around the world in order to discuss major security challenges, as well as events, trends, and opportunities lying ahead for the Transatlantic Community.

Traditionally, the Warsaw Security Forum consists of plenary sessions focused predominantly on grand strategies and broadly defined future of international order, as well as break-out sessions divided into three separate tracks dealing with a somewhat more narrow set of issues relating to the current and foreseeable state of the international security architecture.

The 2018 edition of the Warsaw Security Forum (https://warsawsecurityforum.org) will be a unique event for a number of reasons. Firstly, this year marks the centennial anniversary of the end of the First World War, as well as of a series of historical achievements – such as restoration of independence, national reunification etc. – for many of the States in the region. Secondly, WSF 2018 will be organised in conjunction with over 50 strategic stakeholders, including 3 international organizations (NATO, OSCE and the Council of Europe) and with 20 European and American think-tanks. Furthermore, this year’s edition will gather more than 900 high-level governmental officials, experts, senior representatives of international organizations and members of key world think-tanks from over 50 countries.
