Diplomatic support event for Ukraine in Almaty

On April 8 members of the Almaty diplomatic community from the US and EU diplomatic missions gathered at the Lithuanian Consulate General to demonstrate international solidarity with Ukraine.
Members of the diplomatic community pledged to support the non-governmental organization SOS for Children of Ukraine, which cares for Ukrainian children, the most vulnerable during the war.
"If we want to teach real peace in this world and start a real war before the war, we will have to start with the children", - Mahatma Gandhi.
