Presentation of Lithuanian business climate in Bishkek
On October 18, 2021 in Bishkek, at the Sheraton Hotel, the Consulate General of the Republic of Lithuania in Almaty, together with the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, as well as the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kyrgyzstan, organized a round table for Kyrgyz businessmen on the Lithuanian business climate.
The Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan Gintautas Vasiulis, the Consul General of the Republic of Lithuania in Almaty Gvidas Kerusauskas and the transport attaché of the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in Nur-Sultan Gytautas Jundzila addressed the event. Twenty-five Kyrgyz companies representing the construction, logistics, medicine, consumer goods, agriculture, and banking sectors attended the meeting. During the event, the participants raised many questions with regard to the business climate in Lithuania, the issuance of visas to Kyrgyzstan citizens and permits for carriers. The next event for Kyrgyz businesses in Bishkek is planned for spring 2022.
