Šarūnė Kubiliūtė has assumed the position of Consul General of the Republic of Lithuania in Almaty
This week, Šarūnė Kubiliūtė began her duties as the Consul General of the Republic of Lithuania at the Consulate General in Almaty, Kazakhstan, succeeding her colleague Gvidas Kerušauskas, who completed his term.
Šarūnė Kubiliūtė has been serving in the diplomatic service since 2007.

2010–2015 Chargé d’Affaires, Deputy Head of Mission, Embassy of Lithuania to Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan;

Jun 2015 – Jul 2017 Second Secretary at the External Economic Relations Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs;
Jul 2017 – Jul 2021 Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania to Georgia;
Jul 2021 – Dec 2023 First Secretary at the Global Affairs Group, Ministry of Foreign Affairs;
Dec 2023 – Jul 2025 Head of Policy Analysis Division, Strategic Management and Analysis Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs;
From July 14, 2025 Consul General of the Republic of Lithuania in Almaty, Republic of Kazakhstan.
