The 2nd International Trade Forum "TRADEX" was held in Almaty
On November 19, the Consul General of the Republic of Lithuania in Almaty, Gvidas Kerusauskas, participated in the 2nd International Trade Forum “TRADEX”, where he gave a presentation “Central Asia – Lithuania: Transport and Logistics Solutions Towards Europe and America”. Together with G. Kerušauskas, the plenary session “Challenges and Prospects of International Trade” was attended by the Consul General of the People’s Republic of China in Almaty, Mrs. Jiang Wei, Chairman of the Public Council of the Ministry of National Economy of Kazakhstan, Darmen Sadvakasov, Vice President of the Small and Medium-sized Business Credit Department of Bank “Centercredit” Dmitry Zhilin, and the President of the International Trade Association SMITA, Mrs. Megane S.C. Soo (Malaysia).
G. Kerusauskas presented the main achievements of the Lithuanian economy and business, indicators, and trends of Lithuanian trade with Kazakhstan and other Central Asian countries. He also reviewed Lithuania’s place and role in the development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Corridor (the so-called Middle Corridor).
