Meeting with representatives of Vytautas Magnus University
On April 13–14, 2026, the Consul General of the Republic of Lithuania, Šarūnė Kubiliūtė, together with representatives of Vytautas Magnus University, visited Kazakh National Agrarian University, Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, Eurasian Technological University, the Faculty of Biology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, KIMEP University, and Narxoz University. Vytautas Magnus University has long-standing and regularly renewed cooperation ties with some of these institutions, while bilateral cooperation with others is only now being initiated.
At the end of the visit to Almaty, Vytautas Magnus University representatives visited the Consulate. During the meeting, opportunities for Kazakh students to continue their studies in Lithuania and prospects for further cooperation between Lithuanian and Kazakh universities were discussed. The diplomats also shared their professional experience working in the region.
